In the invoice document, we name the buyer and the seller, and the term invoice indicates that money is owed or owing depending whether you receive or send the invoice.

Let's begin with populating the invoice with your information

1) First and foremost start with entering your company details. Enter your company name, your company address and your contact information like email address, website, and phones.

2) In the top right field enter your bank account to make sure you can get paid.

To make your clients pay you even faster, you should also enter your PayPal address in the field under your company info. That way you'll get instantly paid for your invoice without waiting several days for the bank transfer.

3) After you enter your company and payment details, continue with adding you invoice logo. Using logo for your invoice is important in order to show your professional tone. You can add your logo by drag & drop to the area specified on the invoice.

4) On the right of your logo, enter your document title and your invoice reference number. You can customize the title in order to create different documents like quote, estimate, sales receipt, or purchase order statement.

5) Under the logo, you should enter your client details, like their name, client address and client contact details whether email and/or phone.

6) Then comes the invoice terms. Here you should enter the invoice issue date, invoice net terms, invoice currency, and P.O. (Purchase Order) number.

7) You can easily customize the item labels, so instead of using "Item & Description" you can enter "Services"; and instead of "Quantity", you can enter "Hours". 8) Once we got all that info entered on the invoice we can start entering the main part of the invoice, the invoice items. Here we enter the product or service description, the quantity, and base price. The best part is that all line-totals and amounts will be automatically calculated. 9) Next thing you should enter is the tax, if applicable to your services or products. Just enter the tax name with the percentage in the tax field, and the online invoice maker will calculate the proper tax amount and invoice total.

10) By now you've entered most of the invoice data. So at the bottom, you'll find the "Notes" section where you can define different things like payment terms, thank you notes, bank details, etc.
