How it Works
Invoicebus templates are interactive invoice templates created with 2 goals:
- to replace the old-fashioned Word and Excel invoice templates (should save you time and nerves)
- to beautify the boring invoice appearance (should make a lasting impression on your clients and encourage prompt payments)
After purchasing a template, you will receive a link by email to download all necessary files. Every invoice template comes in one or more color variants and in 3 different file formats: AI, EPS, and HTML.
The AI and the EPS formats are vector based and can be used for bulk invoice printing. They are not meant for invoice creation as most vector programs don’t allow easy data manipulation.
The HTML format implements additional logic and works as an interactive invoice editor for writing invoices. Even though the HTML template runs locally on your computer, we refer it as “web based” because it is made with modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. In order to run, it requires a modern web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, or Opera; and looks like a simple web app (no internet connection is needed though).
The HTML invoice template can be used in 3 ways:
- As an integral part of the Invoicebus service – you upload/save the template to Invoicebus and use it as a default template for all outgoing invoices you send through Invoicebus (subscription required).
- As a standalone template, independent from Invoicebus – you download the template to your computer and use it to write, print, and save invoices to PDF (NO subscription required).
- As an integral part of a third party invoicing system (see license details first).
